As isolation eases, I have been able to get out and shoot more. I feel that if you cannot create great images close to home then you cannot create great images anywhere. The adjacent image was taken within 500 metres of my home in suburban Sydney.

I have not been doing much shooting lately, however I currently have a very large photography
project to complete.
Both my father and my maternal grandfather were avid photographers and I have a very large archive of their prints and black and white negatives dating from the mid 1920's.
These need to be digitized for future generations and as you can imagine it is a huge project, also involving my early photographs from the mid 1950's.
I use my Nikon digital SLR to photograph the old negatives, catalogue them, then process them in Adobe Photoshop.
The adjacent image of VE (Victory in Europe) day celebrations, Martin Place, Sydney, NSW, Australia was taken by my father in 1945.
This was digitized from the original negative.
